Approximately 500 tickets per day to become available on Monday, January 23 via Ticketmaster
January 19 (Vancouver, BC) – Tennis Canada announced on Thursday that additional tickets for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group first-round tie between Canada and France will be released for purchase.
The tie is being held from February 10-12, 2012 at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre at UBC in Vancouver.
Released tickets will become available to the public at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, January 23, 2012 through Ticketmaster.
“We realize that the demand for this event has been extremely high and so we are very pleased that we are able to offer a second opportunity for
fans to purchase seats and take in the Davis Cup action live,” said Gavin Ziv, tournament director.
“These tickets being released were returned to us from the mandatory allotments given to international sponsors, the International Tennis Federation and the visiting nation.
We also worked extremely hard with the venue and UBC to reconfigure the set-up to allow for more unobstructed seats to become available.”
There will be approximately 500 seats per day released for sale with a six ticket purchase limit per order. Tickets will be sold by session only and there will be seats available in the $18, $50 and $85 price range.
